Botanicals and adaptogens are plant-derived compounds (phytochemicals) that interact with stress-response systems like the HPA axis. They help us modulate cortisol and support homeostasis under physical/mental stress, and as a result help us reduce fatigue, improve resilience to stress and support energy and mental clarity. Examples are Ashwagandha, Rhodiola, Holy Basil.
